Artistic Insomnia PART I
The temperature is so high but the fan is working overtime to cool my body. Amidst all this heat and cold, my cup of coffee must have something. It is weird how I try hard to imagine that I need to rest but still, I keep pushing on and on and on.
The last 5 pages of this script do not make sense at all. I am veering off the course of my topic. Gosh, I need to focus. Focus Qwach. I reread the whole script over again. Wow, how did I miss this part? I think a little comedy will spice up the scene.
Once again I add a full page of ideas. The initial goal was to reduce unnecessary information and here I am, gladly adding a whole scene in the middle of my script.
Finally, I come to terms with the idea that if I don't rest then tomorrow... Or today morning, I won't be productive. If I wake up late they will say I am lazy. Let me sleep. I switch off the lights. A tune of a song starts ringing in my mind. I try to focus on getting asleep but that is where the problem is How will I sleep if I'm alert. Interesting indeed. This sickness needs to end.
The name of the main character now pops up well and it suits the character I have been dreaming of. Well, goodbye to my bed or whatever I was sleeping on. My fingers jog on the keyboard fast just to type the name, Lisa. Oh, that feels better. Wait, what was I supposed to write apart from that title? Never mind, let me sleep and continue tomorrow.
I press control + C to be sure I have saved the document. But right before that, the power goes off. How could I just forget the tokens were at 0.2 units. I wish I took Octav seriously when he said a laptop is better than a desktop. Ah never mind. We live to fight another day. I give up and sleep. The next morning I bring back the power and voila the first project on the screen is Lisa. Thank God I slept
